Catherine McAuley High School, a private Catholic college-preparatory school for young women, was established in 1969 by the Sisters of Mercy. McAuley students come from all around the Greater Portland area and are challenged and inspired to reach their highest individual potential in mind, body, and spirit.

Catherine McAuley High School offers a rolling admissions.
The Fall Open House in October is the beginning of the admissions process.
The first Placement Exam for prospective freshmen will be given in October. The President's Scholarship is awarded based on the results of this first exam. The second and final Placement Exam is scheduled for December and January respectively.
