Open House

What do you know about Catherine McAuley High School? Maybe you’ve heard about the uniforms. Maybe you’ve heard that it was an all-girls’ school. That’s right-no boys.

Why Visit McAuley?

We know what you are thinking. No boys? No way! Think again. Graduates of all-girls’ schools are more confident. More focused. More successful. More likely to be class leaders. Still not convinced? That’s why we have an Open House. Each year, Catherine McAuley High School opens its doors to all interested students and their families so that they may see for themselves what McAuley has to offer. McAuley hosts two very different Open House programs each year. There is one very large open house in the fall and a smaller less formal, open house in the spring.

Fall Open House

In October, Young women of all faiths are invited to our campus for a program that begins promptly at 2pm and features student, parent, and alum speakers, and messages from the Principal and the Director of Admissions. After the formal presentation, guided tours will be offered and students will have the opportunity to meet faculty members, coaches, student athletes, and enjoy refreshments.

Spring Open House and Student Forum

In March, prospective students and their families are invited to our campus to gain insight on the happenings at McAuley. The program begins at 6:00 with faculty presentations on curriculum as well as a student panel, which discusses their personal experiences at McAuley. Once faculty and student presentations end, we open the floor up for questions and answers. Students and families who are still wondering where they would like to attend high school are welcome to come to this event and get your questions answered.

As McAuley is on a rolling admission it is never too late to begin the admissions process. If you cannot attend an Open House, please feel free to call to schedule a shadow day for your daughter or a personal tour for parents.
