McAuley Girl for a Day

All students applying to CMHS are required to be a McAuley Girl for a Day. This is an invaluable opportunity for young women to experience McAuley by attending classes, meeting students and faculty and participating in activities and clubs. What better way to discover why you belong at Catherine McAuley High School?

Since the number of students per day is limited, you are requested to call the Admissions Office at (207) 797-3802 ext. 2022 at least three days in advance. The months of November - January are reserved for eighth graders and transfer applicants. Girls in grade 7 are welcome during the months of March – May.

Students are asked to arrive at McAuley no later than 7:45 AM at our Admissions Office and pick-up is at 2:20 PM. Appropriate dress is required (no jeans) and students are asked to bring a book or a notebook in case of quizzes or tests. Lunch will be provided by the Lion’s Den Café.
