Events Overview
Catherine McAuley's special events are central to the School's mission and inspire our dedicated alumnae, parents, students, and friends to participate in the spirit of Mercy.
Annual Auction and Spirit of McAuley Award Dinner
Our Annual Auction not only raises substantial revenue for Catherine McAuley High School, it is a time for all to gather and experience the energy of the McAuley community. In conjunction with the Annual Auction, the Spirit of McAuley Award Dinner is named for Mother Catherine McAuley, Foundress of the Sisters of Mercy, whose vision and commitment to the education of women continues to animate and influence the educational mission of Catherine McAuley High School. This award is bestowed upon the individual(s) who most exemplifies the qualities of Mercy.

Homecoming
Locker wars, pep rallies, athletic competitions, a tailgating BBQ, Powder Puff Football under the lights, and a semi-formal dance are just a sample of the events that gather the McAuley community across the generations in a show of school spirit. Visit the Homecoming event page
Chapter Meetings & Reunions
Consider reconnecting with classmates, faculty, and friends at the reunions offered throughout the year. Whether you attend annual Alumnae Chapter Meetings or All-Class Reunions, you revitalize your link to your school and celebrate in the sisterhood of Mercy. Visit the Reunions event page
Run For Hope
The Run for Hope was established in December 2006 in honor of James and Maxine Pouravelis -- two vibrant members of the McAuley family -- whose lives were cut short by cancer within months of each other. Their daughters, Claudia and Justine, launched this race/run as a means to acquire scholarship money for young women looking to attend McAuley. Visit the Run for Hope event page
