McAuley Students give the Gift of Hope
November 11, 2007 – 7:31 pmHand Crafting Justice is a project developed by the Sisters of the Good Shepherd. Recently, the students of Catherine McAuley volunteered their time and talents to help set up a fair trade marketplace at St Maximilian Kolbe. Authentic crafts were made by women in developing countries and sold to help break the cycle of poverty. The money spent on these products provide women in developing countries with hope and the economic, educational, health, and spiritual assistance that can transform their lives.
