Gina Johnson Qualifies for Individual State Golf Championship

Kudos to McAuley senior Gina Johnson, who has qualified for participation in the Maine Principal’s Association Individual State Golf Championship.

Johnson qualified Thursday, October 2, at the Riverside Municipal Golf Course in Portland.  As part of the Southern Maine Activities Association (SMAA) League, Johnson needed a score of 110 or less to enter the State Tournament.  Johnson finished second in the League, with a score of 105.

The Maine Principal’s Association Individual State Golf Championship will be held at the Natanis Arrowhead Golf Course on Saturday, October 18, at 10:00 AM.  This is McAuley’s second year of sponsoring golf and the second time the School has qualified an individual for the State Championship.
