McAuley’s Mr. Wagner Wins Representative Seat

Kudos to McAuley history teacher Joe Wagner, who successfully captured a seat in the State House of Representatives, representing District #139, Lyman and Waterboro.

Mr. Wagner holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Politics from the Catholic University of America, and a Master’s in Public Administration from the University of Southern California.  While his professional teaching career has spanned nearly twenty-five years, seven of which have been spent at McAuley, this is his first experience as an elected official in the political arena.  Mr. Wagner previously served in the United States Department of Health and Human Services.

In his newly elected position, Mr. Wagner will focus his energies on alternative energy and healthcare.
