McAuley Students Attend Gubernatorial Address

On Wednesday morning, February 4, four Student Council members represented McAuley at “Eggs and Issues,” Governor Baldacci’s annual address to the greater Portland community on the present condition of our state.

Although many issues were touched upon by the Governor, his focus surrounded the state’s economic situation, Maine’s wealth of natural resources, and his views on the matter of education.

Attended by a number of business professionals, educators, and students, our four young women were an incredible presence, representing the hope we have in tomorrow’s leaders.
