McAuley Students Sing for Portland Sea Dogs
May 5, 2009 – 3:00 pm
On Wednesday, April 29, Portland’s hometown baseball team, the Sea Dogs, experienced the vocal talents of two McAuley students, junior Samantha Dedian and senior Julia Furtado, prior to the start of their game against Binghamton.
Dedian and Furtado, who auditioned for the coveted spot on April 25, were selected from a group of sixty vocalists to sing the National Anthem.
Congratulations on this accomplishment, ladies, and kudos for bringing your gifts to the baseball diamond.
