Congratulations to Mrs. Linda Freeman of McAuley’s Guidance Office, who will inducted into the New England Basketball Hall of Fame on October 9, 2009.

In the late 70s and early 80s, Freeman was a standout basketball player at Saint Joseph’s College of Maine, where she holds the career record for scoring an average of 19.7 points per game.  Additionally, she ranks fifth in points accumulated (1150 points) over four years.  Prior to her college career, Freeman was a top team player at Scarborough High School.

The McAuley community is proud of you, Mrs. Freeman!  Congratulations on this prestigious honor!
