McAuley Junior Performs in Portland Youth Wind Ensemble

Congratulations to Jolie Thomas ‘11, who recently participated in the fall performance of the Portland Youth Wind Ensemble.  Jolie played the bassoon in this concert, which was held at Merrill Auditorium on Thursday, November 19, 2009.

The Ensemble is made up of an amazing group of talented high school students from across the state.  Students pledge a year-long commitment to the group, and Jolie will be part of a second performance in the spring.

Each concert is open to the public and well worth attending if you have a love of band and orchestra.
