McAuley Parents Club Contributes $2,500 in Scholarship Grants

The Catherine McAuley High School Parents Club is pleased to announce its contribution of $2,500 in scholarship grants to deserving members of the School community.

The total will be split into five equal scholarships of $500, to be presented to a graduating senior (Class of 2010), an incoming freshwoman (Class of 2014) and one award each to a returning student from the Classes of 2011, 2012 and 2013.  All graduating seniors are automatically eligible.  All returning students are eligible to apply and further details, including a Scholarship Application form, will be provided in a mailing in May.  The scholarship to the graduating senior will be announced in May and all other award recipients will be notified in July.

This scholarship grant was made possible by the generous support from the McAuley community for the Parents Club activities over the past year.  Gifts of food, supplies and your labor for the Welcome Back Breakfast, Follow Your Daughter Night, Craft Fair Weekend and many other events have allowed the Parents Club to conserve its income and fund these scholarships.  Accordingly, the PC’s Board and members were pleased to approve these scholarships at its March meeting and give back to the McAuley community.
