McAuley Students Win Voice of Democracy Essay Contest

Congratulations to this year’s Voice of Democracy essay contest winners who were honored by the VFW’s Deering Post on Sunday, March 7:

Third place- Samantha Dedian ’10 – $100

Second Place- Danielle Street ’11 – $150

First Place- Jennifer Ben ’11 – $200

The topic for this year’s essay was “Does America Still Have Heroes?”, and these students answered that question most successfully!
