Catherine McAuley High School features summer camps at McAuley for girls ages 8-14. Sports camps include basketball, field hockey, soccer, lacrosse and softball. Fine arts programs feature drama workshops. Art, writing and science camps are also available as academic offerings. Download the Camp McAuley Flyer.

Equipment you’ll need:

  • Comfortable sneakers
  • Bathing suit and towel
  • Bag lunch
  • Cleats (optional) for soccer, softball, field hockey, and lacrosse camps
  • Mouth guard (optional)
  • Equipment pertaining to individual camp (field hockey and lacrosse stick, softball glove, etc.)

McAuley camps have experienced and dedicated staff of past and present high school and junior high school coaches. Additional staff is comprised of highly qualified high school and collegiate players and former players.

                      Please note that all camps are held Monday-Thursday from 8:30-2:30pm. 
Friday release is at noon.  

Each camp is $175* for a one-week session.  A $25 discount will be applied for each additional week of camps attended.  A $50 non-refundable deposit is required to participate in each camp.

* A modest activity fee will apply to the Integrated Art & Writing and Science Discovery Camps.

Lacrosse: June 29-July 2, 2015

All aspects of the game are covered, including stick handling, cradling, passing, catching and shooting. Team play will be highlighted, as well as instruction on individual skills. This camp is sure to be fun. Bring your sticks and a swim suit!

Softball: June 29-July 2, 2015

Instruction in the proper techniques of hitting, bunting, base running, sliding, stealing, fielding, throwing, position play and team strategies for both the beginner and advanced player will be presented. Be sure to bring your glove! Swimming included.

Topscore Basketball: July 6-10 & July 13-17, 2015

Get a solid foundation in basketball skills, techniques and strategies. Come experience sportsmanship, teamwork and safety while having fun and meeting new friends! Be sure to bring your swim suit for a dip in the pool on hot days.

Integrated Art & Writing: July 13-17, 2015

Come write and create during this fun and whimsical week. Strengthen your writing skills with poem prompts and collage stories. Learn to build with plaster and armatures. Ideas and materials will be blended to develop your own myths, poems and more.

Science Discovery: July 13-17, 2015

This interactive camp will explore current event topics in biotechnology, from gene therapy to emerging viruses and superbugs.  Campers will engage in hands-on activities and design lab experiments to understand the science behind the news.  

Soccer: July 20-24, 2015

An overall soccer experience! Learn skills and strategies while having fun with your new friends. Swimming included.

Field Hockey: July 20-24, 2015

Build a solid foundation for the beginner while adding strategies and techniques for experienced players! Lectures, clinics, swimming and fun and games are all included.

Dramatics: July 27-31, 2015

Learn the on-stage and off-stage art of theater in this fun, interactive camp. Experience dancing, singing and acting while gaining skills in technical work, lighting, hair, makeup and costuming. Pack your lunch and sneakers!
